Pathfinder: 5-Step Program

Lumosis' proprietary Pathfinder: 5-Step Program is uniquely designed to offer high school students the kickstart they need to get started on their further education planning. The program includes an online assessment followed by four personalized, 1-on-1 coaching sessions.

By the end of this program, students will have pinpointed specific career interests and how their strengths align with the field, set SMART long- and short-term goals, and have a clear timeline ahead on university applications.

Navigating admissions interviews? Lumosis’ Admissions Interview Training takes a story-telling approach to help your child stand out among applicants. Beyond building your child’s confidence and storytelling skills, we help your child identified their personal strengths and build a compelling student profile with key stories and accomplishments to spotlight during their interviews.

This service is suitable for students who are applying to universities or secondary schools that require interview as part of the admissions process.

    • Focused on building key stories to highlight student’s personal strengths and interests in preparation for school admission interviews

    • Practise answering commonly asked questions through a story-telling approach to help student stand out and be more personable during interview process

    • Build student’s confidence in speaking and introducing themselves through rehearsals

    • Research and establish specific reasons and student’s fit to the applying school(s)

    • Develop a document clearly outlining student’s personal traits, strengths, and stories that could be used as a student profile and notes for preparing the interview

    • School-specific: responses should include student’s fit to the school’s community and values (limited to three schools)

    • Using stories and personal highlights established from interview training, students can further demonstrate their likeability and presentation through a short video

    • Developing student’s speaking as well as giving them more practices to speaking under pressure

    • Showcase student’s interests and accomplishments by including additional video footages or photographs of their extracurricular activities into the video

    • Assistance in filming and editing to produce a high-quality final video (no longer than 2 minutes in duration)

Our Profile Building coaching program harnesses students' strengths to create an impressive project for their profile. We offer step-by-step guidance from project conception to execution, deepening your child's academic learning while expanding their extracurricular activities.

The coaching includes Academic Exploration, which aids in uncovering your child's passions and academic interests, fostering curiosity and self-directed learning.
